Many of my clients are dealing with big life events such as career changes, relationship concerns, parenting, divorce, grief/loss or need a space for exploring creative endeavors and self-exploration. I am also experienced in the fields of addiction and recovery, and work well with people affected by the substance use of a loved one.

There are many paths to healing. Therapy can be a useful tool in getting to the root of challenges, gaining insight and finding healthy ways to navigate this ever-changing world. I believe in the resiliency of human beings. I bring warmth, honesty and compassion to my work empowering individuals to draw on their strengths while helping them toward personal growth to live rich, meaningful and healthy lives.
My methods focus each person's needs incorporating verbal, creative and non-verbal techniques to navigate life's challenges. Attachment and relationships are key to the healing process of building relationships and connections in the community to facilitate independence and long term growth.
My work incorporates integration of evidence based treatment modalities and a holistic-health viewpoint taking into account mind, body, emotional and spiritual aspects. Everyone has a different path toward self-growth, and together we will determine the best approach for your goals. We work to discover and help strengthen the resources
My work incorporates integration of evidence based treatment modalities and a holistic-health viewpoint taking into account mind, body, emotional and spiritual aspects. Everyone has a different path toward self-growth, and together we will determine the best approach for your goals. We work to discover and help strengthen the resources you already have, develop new coping skills and help guide you to new strategies for meeting life's challenges. (see below for specific treatment modalities)

PAYMENT OPTIONS
I accept cash, checks, credit cards and HSA cards.
I offer sliding scale and I can provide an invoice to submit to your insurance if you have out of network benefits*. You will be responsible for payment at the time of services.
*If you have insurance: For those who have private insurance and would like to use out-of-network benefits please contact your insurance company and verify your benefits. Often plans are different and sometimes mental health services are managed by other companies. When you call, specifically ask if you have out of network benefits
The first session is the time to explore what brought you to therapy and to determine if our working relationship is a good fit. During this time, information is gathered about your current individual needs. During this meeting you can spend some time getting to know me and asking questions as needed about our work together. Once we both I have enough information to formulate therapy recommendations we can then discuss next steps.
Follow up sessions: Generally appointments are 50-minute sessions . We work together to determine the frequency of therapy sessions (e.g., weekly, bimonthly, monthly).
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have
insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical
items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total
expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes
related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and
hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate
in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you
choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or
service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith
Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
