As a therapist, over the years I found working with people’s stories, using metaphors, mythology, archetypes, parts work and expressive arts to be powerful tools for insight and growth.  In your natal astrology chart the planets are archetypes that represent parts of you, like voices within, each with a gift to bring you. There is a synergy between the fields of psychotherapy and astrology that adds a valuable source of wisdom on our life's journey as we are faced with challenges and questions. 

The focus of Astrology that I have I have been draw to is evolutionary astrology. It is a type of modern astrology that is psychological, spiritual, and archetypal. Evolutionary astrology gives us understanding and guidance focusing on psychological and spiritual growth, while encouraging freedom and choice.

I have completed my Apprentice Practitioner Certification through professional study of Evolutionary Astrology with a teacher (Steven Forrest’s Evolutionary Astrology Apprenticeship Program).

Astrology is a very ancient discipline, which has been practiced and valued by cultures all over the world. The observation and study of the heavens reveals meaningful and influential correlations between the position and motion of the planets, stars and other celestial phenomena and our lives. Most people think of Astrology as the sun sign based astrology that is typically found in newspapers or magazines. Modern astrology differs in that it provides an in depth examination of a person and is a more individualized, complex, layered and sophisticated analysis. Astrology can provide a deeper understanding of where the important learning may lie in the journey of our lives. 

As an evolutionary astrologer, the core philosophical belief that guides my work is the belief that everyone’s life, whether we are aware of it or not, has a profoundly meaningful purpose and that this purpose is laid out in the natal chart. Evolutionary astrology utilizes each person’s birth chart as a map of the soul’s evolution. The natal chart is seen as a blueprint of our soul's evolutionary intentions for this specific lifetime. This blueprint represents our potential, and not who we are in a static or fixed way. It is not fated, but rather it illuminates our choices. Through this awareness, personal freedom and choice is enhanced, as well as compassion for ourselves and others. It enables us to become conscious of our true potential.

A chart reading looks at your personality, your potential, your strengths as well as your challenges. My style is to empower you and support you in unlocking your gifts and potentials while compassionately developing self-acceptance, awareness and clarity on your path. The reading is not meant to be predictive, though we can certainly take a look at transits and progressions that may impact your future. It is meant to offer a navigational guide for your journey and how you grow and change in a changing world.

Consultations are a dialog between us. These can be done in person or over the phone or Zoom and are typically 90 minutes in length. During our time together we will review your natal chart. The natal chart is a map of the planets at the moment of your birth.
